WOMADelaide is Australia's celebration of the richness of cultures from
around the planet. For four nights and three days, dazzling artists
transport you around the globe with an eclectic mix of artistic
colours, creeds, lands and languages. And you don't have to set foot
outside its beautiful outdoor festival site - Adelaide Botanic Park.
Set in the heart of the city, the park's giant Moreton Bay Figs provide
shady groves for intimate traditional performances. The rolling lawns
provide plenty of room to dance.
WOMADelaide - sometimes also known as simply WOMAD - is a glorious
explosion of sound, colour and movement. For a few days, the world
becomes a village in a park, and there's no better place to be.
